Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH is the central access point for all players in the region's media industry. The board is a joint venture of the two states in the area of film funding and location development. The location marketing division handles image making for the Berlin-Brandenburg media region, interstate and interindustry networking, current information on sites, retention of existing media companies and support of business promotion agencies in attracting media enterprises and projects to the area. Medienboard's film funding supports films and film-related projects in the categories of script development, project development, package promotion, production, distribution and sales, and miscellaneous activities.
