How to apply for a Shooting Permit

A written application has to be handed in to BVG with the following information:

  • preferable shooting place
  • date
  • time
  • duration
  • if necessary, production number and draft title
  • script extract and summary
  • responsible contact person of the film production company


Please note: The BVG has a standardised contract for shooting permits. In order to be valid it must be signed by a film company manager and handed in at least one day before the beginning of the shooting procedure.
