The Tiergarten is Berlin's largest and most popular urban park. The former hunting ground of the prince electors was reshaped into a park in the 18th century. P.J. Lenné rearranged it again in the years 1833-38, adding the lakes and watercourses which are responsible for the charm and attraction of the park. In the summer, when the weather is good, a barbecue with the whole family in the park is a popular weekend tour for the Berlins.

The Tiergarten is a public park. If you wish to film there, please do contact the district authority / parks. They will issue the permit if you need one.
