Filming on bridges

For filming on and under bridges, the application for special use must always be submitted to the Senatsverwaltung für Mobilität, Verkehr, Klimaschutz und Umwelt Abteilung Tiefbau Bereich Brücken / Ingenieurbau. 

This application is independent of road traffic law and is governed by road traffic law. The application should be submitted at least 4-6 weeks before the start of filming. This can be done informally by email. However, all important information (such as "When? How? Where? Who? What?") should be included in the application. 

Even for small filming projects such as a mini-team, the Bridge Authority must be informed using the mini-team form. A minimum of 2 weeks' notice should be given. 

For filming over rails where the camera is positioned beyond the railing, approval must be obtained from Deutsche Bahn (link: Online application for filming on Deutsche Bahn premises).

Unlike in Berlin, there is no separate permit for filming on bridges in the state of Brandenburg.

The relevant point of contact for filming permits on public roadland is the respective lower road traffic authorities of the State of Brandenburg .
